In April, the Lubbock Independent School District will host a series of town hall meetings that aimed at keeping the community up to date on what is happening inside the school district.

Lubbock ISD To Hold Several Town Hall Meetings

According to a press release from Lubbock ISD, the Town Hall meetings will actually begin this Wednesday, April 1st at Lubbock High School starting at 5:30 p.m.

All Town Hall events are free and open to any member of the public. Parents and guardians can attend any meeting – not just the one that corresponds to the voting district in which they live or their child attends school. Each session will feature updates from district leadership and opportunities for questions.

So When are the Town Halls? The First One is This Wednesday

Below is the schedule for each meeting. Remember, you can attend as many as you want.

Town Hall Schedule: All town hall meetings will be held from 5:30- 7 p.m.

  • District 1: Wednesday, April 1 | Lubbock High School, 2004 19th St.

  • District 2: Thursday, April 9 | Estacado High School, 1504 E. Itasca St.

  • District 5: Monday, April 13 | Mackenzie Middle School, 5402 12th St.

  • District 3: Monday, April 20 | Coronado High School 4910 29th Dr.

  • District 4: Monday, April 27 | Monterey High School, 3211 47th St.\

  • Virtual Town Hall: Tuesday, May 5 | Streaming information provided at a later date.

The meetings will discuss what is happening in Lubbock ISD along with the progress and future of the district.

Parents and community members will also have an opportunity to ask questions during the meetings.
