Lubbock County Republicans Invite Public To Game-Day Tailgate Party [INTERVIEW]

Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show there was a party in the KFYO studio, and joining Chad in the were Lubbock County Republican Party Chairman Steve Evans as well as Brandon Helton and Hugo Ramirez of the Young Republicans and Tech College Republicans. The guests shared the details of their joint tailgate party for Saturday's Texas Tech Red Raiders game against the TCU Horned Frogs, and extended an invitation to the public to join them.

The off-campus party will be held on the corner of 2nd Place and Boston, and will begin at 10:00 a.m. There will be a television for watching the game, and even a 'port-a-potty' for the comfort of their guests. They will be cooking brisket and will have desserts as well.

Evans said,

We'll probably lift the lids and start eating around 11:30 or noon...until we run out of food...It's a casual event, come and go.
