On Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Tom Vermillion from the Lubbock Boys and Girls Club talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about their upcoming golf tournament.

The Boys and Girls Club's annual Jr. Golf Tournament will be taking place next month. Vermillion says that for the next 6 weeks, adults will be helping club members of all ages learn to play golf and work on their skills leading up to the tournament. He added that anyone who wishes to donate old clubs for the tournament is welcome to do so.

The tournament will be held July 27th at Stonegate Golf Course starting at 8 AM. Registration is open to any child 17 and under. The cost will be $25 per child, and free to any members of the Boys and Girls Club.
