Linda Dempsey Says USMCA Trade Deal Is Good For Texas

Vice President of the National Association of Manufacturers, Linda Dempsey, joined The Chad Hasty Show on Monday to discuss a trade deal that is awaiting approval from Congress.

The USMCA is a trade deal between the United States, Canada, and Mexico and is the updated and newly written version of NAFTA.

Dempsey told KFYO that there are several improvements made in the new trade deal and that Mexico has already ratified the agreement. Dempsey said she believes the USMCA will pass in the Fall, but the sooner, the better for trade in Texas.
