RNC: Pelosi Giving Democrats Cover By Approving USMCA

RNC Deputy Communications Director Cassie Smedile joined The Chad Hasty Show on Wednesday to discuss the latest in the impeachment battle and the 2020 campaign.

Smedile told KFYO that polling for impeaching President Trump continues to fall and that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was attempting to give her caucus cover yesterday by announcing support for the USMCA trade deal just one hour after House Democrats announced articles of impeachment against President Trump.

Smedile told KFYO that President Trump had been working on the trade deal for well over a year and that House Democrats ignored it until yesterday. Smedile also informed KFYO that some Democrats were upset with Pelosi for agreeing to the trade deal because it would deliver a win for the President in 2020.
