Kid Rock Might Be Running for U.S. Senate in Michigan
In a tweet that followed, Kid Rock said, "I will have major announcement in the near future."
Of course, Kid Rock could just be messing with everyone, but this isn't the first time that Kid Rock has shown interest in Republican politics.
In 2012, he made appearances with the Romney campaign on the campaign trail, and in 2016 Kid Rock supported Donald Trump's campaign for president of the United States. According to CNN, Kid Rock's name has been floated in the past as someone who could run against Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow.
CNN also reported that as of right now, no paperwork had been filed by Kid Rock or his legal name Robert James Ritchie.
