RNC Chairwoman Discusses Texas Focus, Threat Of Socialism

Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel joined the program to talk about the state of the Republican Party in Texas, the rapid rise of socialist agendas among the 2020 democrat presidential candidates, and the increasing focus of the RNC on Texas in 2020.

While talking about the startling rise and acceptance of socialist ideas in the country, McDaniel said,

I think everybody in the state needs to be dialing in to what Democrats are saying right now. They are embracing this 'Green New Deal'. Your own Beto O'Rourke is embracing this 'Green New Deal'. That [plan] would be devastating for the economy of Texas.

McDaniel continued talking about the popularity of socialist agendas, saying,

They want to radically change America, and the fundamental principals of democracy, free market, [and] individual liberty. All you have to do is look at Venezuela to see where that leads. It's a slippery slope.
They say, 'Oh this isn't socialism.' Let me just tell you: Controlling, moving power to Washington and centralizing power in the hands of politicians is what socialism starts with...They want to change America as we know it, and [President Trump] is fighting to keep our country great and keep jobs and democracy alive.
