A Lubbock man wanted for questioning in regards to various burglaries in Lubbock was apprehended overnight in Southwest Lubbock.

Lubbock Police responded to a burglary in progress at the Valero Corner Store located at Frankford Avenue and Spur 327 at 12:20 a.m. An officer with LPD saw the suspect’s vehicle fleeing the scene and initiated a traffic stop which led to a foot pursuit of Kenneth Devroe and the car driving off.

Devroe was captured in the east alley of Everett Ave and placed into custody. The other suspect with Devroe, Charleszetta Germon, fled in the vehicle but was taken into custody without incident in the 4300 block of South Loop 289.

Devroe has eight charges against him, including four state jail felony warrants, assaulting a police officer, and tampering with evidence.
