Quarterback Alan Bowman wasn't the only Texas Tech player to take a monster hit during the West Virginia game on Saturday.

During the 2nd half when the Red Raiders were mounting an honest-to-goodness comeback, West Virginia safety Josh Norwood guarded against a pass from Jett Duffey to wide receiver Ja'Deion High. And by "guarded against a throw," we mean targeted.

Norwood leveled High, who was mid-air while jumping for the pass. The sheer force of the impact caused everyone in The Jones to instinctively yell, 'ooooooh!'

High landed hard on his head, but was able to get right back up and continue playing. The same couldn't be said for Norwood, who received a personal foul for targeting and was ejected from the game.

As for Alan Bowman, all we know right now is that he was taken from the game to a local hospital after suffering a torso injury. Bowman was sandwiched between two West Virginia players during a sack early in the first half of the game.
