High Point Village today broke ground on Phase I of a new 22,000 square foot facility. The new enrichment center will be located in northwest Lubbock at Milwaukee Avenue and Kent Street. High Point Village serves special needs individuals throughout Lubbock and the South Plains.

“We are ecstatic to take this first step towards making the residential enrichment center a reality,” said Fritzi Cates, Executive Director at High Point Village. “We so appreciate the donors whose support has lead us to this point and we look forward to partnering with new donors to see the center come to fruition.”

“When asked to co-chair this capital campaign, I was glad to accept,” noted State Representative Charles Perry. “All you have to do is spend some time with these precious people to realize the good work High Point is doing for families across West Texas. Together, we will expand their impact.”

Today’s groundbreaking also launches a capital campaign for Phase I and Phase II of the new High Point Village. The future Phase II of the new facility will include residential cottages for High Point Village.
