Gov. Abbott Explains Need for High-Quality Pre-K Funding in Texas [INTERVIEW]
Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Texas Governor Greg Abbott joined the broadcast to talk about the ongoing 85th Texas Legislature and what he sees as priorities for the state of Texas.
Abbott talked about the items that he views as being emergency topics for the state, including reform of Child Protective Services, ending 'sanctuary city' policies in the state, ethics and property tax reforms. Abbott also explained his position on high quality Pre-K and his calls on lawmakers to provide funding needed for the initiative.
While discussing sanctuary cities and the law enforcement officials who are refusing to abide by federal immigration control and procedures, Abbott said: "What these Sheriffs are doing, is literally endangering their own communities because of some crazy left-liberal policy."
