
FBI Takes Down Massive Drug Trafficking Ring In Lubbock Connected to Mexican Drug Cartels
FBI Director Kash Patel announced on X (formally Twitter) that a large narcotics trafficking ring operating in Lubbock was taken down on Wednesday.
The arrests comes as part of the renewed mission by Patel and the FBI to "break the drug Cartels" that are operating within the United States. According to Patel, 22 members of a drug trafficking ring were taken down and arrested. Patel said the FBI believes at least one member was working with Mexican Drug Cartels.
Patel credited the FBI Dallas team along with partners with Texas Law Enforcement and the DEA along with others.
Patel has taken to social media numerous times to announces the arrests of cartel members, members of MS-13, and other arrests. Patel has said before that the FBI will use the join-terrorism task force in all field offices to track down and arrest those with ties to terrorism, including cartels.
