17 Motorcycle Clubs in Texas You Can Join Without Being A Criminal
Owning and riding a motorcycle is a lifestyle, a hobby, and for so many a way of life they absolutely love. And in Texas, we have quite a few biker clubs that you may or may not have heard about before.
Of course we have all heard the term "biker gang", but biker gangs are actually a small portion of bikers. That's why they are labeled as a 1% Motorcycle Club.
Examples of 1% Motorcycle Clubs
The 1% clubs include what are sometimes called "outlaw gangs". Some of the most notorious being the Bandidos, Hells Angels, Mongols, Outlaws, and Sons of Silence.
The Other, Friendlier Biker Clubs
The biker clubs you will learn more about below are much different than biker gangs. According to Superbikenewbie, these clubs can all be found in Texas. Most motorcycle riders join clubs with other enthusiasts who like to ride and even raise money for non-profit organizations. Some are even former police officers who enjoy riding the highways together.
So why do people join biker groups? As LawAbidingBiker points out, it's the same reason people join other organizations. They like to be around other people who share their passion. Also, it's generally safer to ride in a group than alone.
The biker clubs you will find below aren't banned anywhere and are open to new members who enjoy riding.
