Tuesday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The President and CEO of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Eddie McBride joined Dave and Matt to talk about Tech's game last night, the Texas Tech vet school, several upcoming chamber events including the Uncorked Wine Event, and more.

McBride started the discussion by talking about the Tech game last night, which led to a talk about the Texas Tech vet school. When asked if there has been any movement lately, McBride explained that the house has passed the $17 million budget, and that now the Senate is taking up the budget. Eddie said that it seems like it's moving well through the House, and that he thinks we will see a good budget by the end of the session.

Eddie also talked about the upcoming 4th Annual Uncorked Wine Event where they celebrate great growers, wine makers, and wine drinkers by bringing different kinds of local and regional Texas wines to taste. In addition to the wine, the event will also have food trucks, music, and beer. The event takes place from 4-9pm at the Windmill Museum this Friday, April 12th.
