Early Morning Shooting in Lubbock Kills One and Injures Another

Lubbock Police have released details of an early morning shooting.
On Friday, September 5, two men were shot outside in the 1800 block of 49th Street at approximately 2 a.m.
One of the victims, 44-year-old Robert Ramirez Sr., succumbed to his injuries and the other, 22-year-old Robert Ramirez Jr., sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police are searching for two suspects that they have described as black males possibly driving a Dodge Magnum of unknown color.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Lubbock Crime Line at 741-1000. Lubbock Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrests of the suspects.
