
Crosby County Teenager Killed in Car Accident With Greyhound Bus

A two-vehicle accident in Crosby County took the life of a teenager on Monday, April 20.
According to a report by the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident involved a 1991 Dodge pickup and a Greyhound bus.
KAMC news reports the crash occurred at about 10 p.m. Monday night, April 22, 2020, near the cemetery of Ralls, Texas.
DPS reports that 16-year-old Ryan Soliz of Ralls was driving a Dodge pickup south on US Highway 62 when he failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of US Highway 82.
A greyhound bus carrying 16 passengers was traveling west on US 82 when it struck the front driver-side door of the pickup. Photos of the accident show the truck heavily damaged.
Soliz was pronounced dead at the scene. The bus driver, 66-year-old Jerry Henson of Lancaster, Texas, was not injured. Neither were any of the 16 passengers.
