Griffith Discusses Citizen's Tower, Former Mayor Martin Legacy

Wednesday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin Lubbock City Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Griffith joined show in the KFYO studio to talk about news and issues in the city of Lubbock.

Griffith, King and Martin discussed many different topics including the city government's move into Citizen's Tower, parking at the location and construction of a new parking facility, the legacy of former Mayor Tom Martin, plastic grocery bags, South Plains College's new campus in downtown Lubbock, the cleanup of the former Villa Motel, and more.

While summarizing progress on Citizen's Tower, Griffith said, "We've developed a plan with existing dollars to construct a multi-level parking garage. "
