Coronavirus has had a major impact on our way of life, and that includes how we celebrate holidays. The next holiday to be impacted by the coronavirus and the mood of America? Independence Day.

According to a study from WalletHub, 78 percent of Americans will be spending less money over the 4th of July holiday. According to the study, 82 percent of Americans feel less free this year compared to last year, and that probably has a lot to do with the shutdowns and regulations surrounding the novel coronavirus.

When it comes to travel, 74 percent of Americans won't be traveling this July 4th weekend, adding to 38 percent of summer vacations that were canceled.

A lot of Americans also aren't trusting each other to do what is best when it comes to protecting one another from coronavirus, with 73 percent of those surveyed saying they don't believe others will be responsible with social distancing over the holiday.

The survey from WalletHub also reported that 1 in 3 Americans are feeling less patriotic this year.

Maybe the start of Major League Baseball in late July will make Americans feel better. Until then, stay healthy, and make the best out the Independence Day weekend that you can.
