Convention Of States Requires Caution – Patrick Svitek [INTERVIEW]
Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Patrick Svitek from the Texas Tribune joined the show to talk about news from the 85th Texas Legislature and much more.
Svitek and Hasty discussed the ongoing issue of the "bathroom bill" in Texas, the status of the Ken Paxton trial, and Texas government's cautious approach to a Convention of States.
While Svitek and Hasty were talking about the concern and caution that must be exercised with an issue with the gravity of a Convention of States, Svitek said,
It is an issue that deals with the United States Constitution, and altering it, and so that is something to watch going forward.
