Code Administration to Search Heart of Lubbock Neighborhood

The Code Administration section of the Lubbock Police Department will conduct a neighborhood deployment this week.

Code Administration will search the Heart of Lubbock Neighborhood on Thursday, April 18^th between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for violations related to junked vehicles, nuisance weeds and rubbish, substandard housing, and zoning.

Inspectors will be in the area between 19^th Street and 34^th Street on the north and south, and Avenue Q and University Avenue on the east and west.

Code Administration will have a field office set up at 1701 27^th Street for citizens to ask questions or report violations. A roll-off dumpster will also be provided at the field office for citizens to dispose of unwanted bulky items.
