Two people have been arrested on burglary charges.

On Friday, May 17th, Lubbock police officers responded to a burglary in progress at the Fast Stop, located at 7302 4th Street.

Officers saw a red pickup leaving the area that matched the description of the suspect vehicle.

The suspects attempted to hide in a parking lot at 5800 4th Street, but were found by the officers.

When the officers opened the doors to remove the two occupants of the vehicle, evidence from the burglary began falling out of the truck.

Police arrested 26-year-old Christopher Escobar and 45-year-old Kenneth Devroe. Both men are charged with burglary of a business.
