Jakeem Grant, Le'Raven Clark and Patrick Mahomes have all received nods for All-American Honors.

Patrick Mahomes garnered honorable mention honors on Sports Illustrated's All-American team. The sophomore quarterback was top 10 in many stat categories and 3rd overall in passing yards leading a top three offense at Texas Tech.

Texas Tech currently ranks no. 1 nationally in third down conversion rate (52 percent) and no. 2 nationally in three team offensive categories: scoring offense (46.6), total offense (594.5) and passing offense (389.7).

A huge reason for Mahomes' - and the offense's - success is Le'Raven Clark, who received honorable mention honors on Sports Illustrated and 2nd team honors on CBS Sports All-American Team.

Clark, a senior, has started 50 straight games and has been a dominant force during his time as a Red Raider.

Jakeem Grant was placed on the second team on both the CBS and Sports Illustrated All-American Teams. Grant was one of the most electrifying players in college football in 2015, returning two kickoffs the distance and getting over 1,000 receiving yards.

Grant ranked 3rd in the nation in all-purpose yards per game with 180.6 per game and set a school record in 2015 for most receiving yards.
