Caught on Camera: Man Arrested for Indecent Behavior with Child

A Lubbock man is behind bars after being accused of inappropriately touching a child. 52-year-old Samuel Aguilar was arrested on Saturday, June 10, after being accused of touching a pre-teen.

KAMC news reports that the incident occurred in a bedroom in a home with Aguilar placing his hand in the pre-teens shorts. The bedroom interaction is said to have lasted for about three minutes and was captured on video surveillance footage for the entirety that it occurred. The footage does seem to show Aguilar visibly touching the victim's genitals and as of now there is no update as to why there was video surveillance pointed in the direction of the bedroom.

Aguilar was arrested and charged with Indecency with a Child Engaging in Sexual Contact. As per the publishing of this article, Aguilar remains in custody at the Lubbock County Detention Center and is on a $25,000 bond. Aguilars charges are considered a second-degree felony in Texas and if convicted could lead to 2 to 20 years in prison along with a $10,000 fine. If he is convicted Aguilar would also have to register as a sex offender for life in the state of Texas.
