Lubbock’s congressman lauds a business investment in the Texas Panhandle.

Cargill, an international producer and marketer of food, agricultural, financial, and industrial products and services, has announced plans to build a new feed product facility in Bovina.

The facility will be near an existing Cargill Cattle Feeders location. The community will gain 37 permanent jobs as a result of the new location.

“West Texas is the heart of cattle feeding country, and it is home to some of our nation’s closest communities and hardest workers,” said District 19 U.S. Congressman Randy Neugebauer. “I know that just as Parmer County will benefit from Cargill’s investment, Cargill will benefit from closer ties to the Bovina community.”
