Braddock And Hasty Discuss Latest On Bonnen, Burrows, Sullivan, And Audio Recording [INTERVIEW]
Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show Scott Braddock, editor of Quorum Report, joined the program to discuss the rapidly expanding controversy in the Texas legislature which involves a meeting between Texas Speaker of the House Dennis Bonnen, District 83 Representative Dustin Burrows, and Michael Quinn Sullivan from Empower Texans, on June 12, 2019.
Braddock and Hasty talked about the ramifications of the meeting, and the recording of the meeting made by Sullivan, the contents of which has been verified by at least one other lawmaker, including Representative Jonathan Stickland, as detailed during an earlier interview on Thursday's Chad Hasty Show.
About the possible purpose of the recording and it's extremely limited release thus far, Braddock said,
I think that if people are making accusations like this, then they should be transparent, and they should let everyone hear it, so that everybody can hear from themselves. I mean, on the journalists front, that's what actual journalists would do. Political operatives would handle it the way Empower Texas is doing it, which is to say, "Only select people can hear this."
