Both suspects in a Lubbock shooting are in custody.

Noel Serrano and Mayra Caraveo have been arrested for the murder of Fabian Rios on the night of July 30, 2014. Rios was fatally shot in the 2000 block of 89th Street in Lubbock. At the time of his shooting, Rios was wanted in Big Spring on an Aggravated Assault charge.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2014 Caraveo was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Hobbs, New Mexico on a murder charge. She was then booked into the Lea County Jail.

Just after midnight on August 13, 18-year-old Serrano surrendered himself to U.S. Marshals in Lubbock. Serrano has been booked into the Lubbock County Jail on a $1 million bond and charged with murder.

According to KAMC News, court records indicate Serrano and Caraveo kidnapped a 13-year-old girl who was with Rios at the time of his murder.
