Body Found in South Lubbock Identified by Police

Lubbock Police have identified the murder victim discovered in South Lubbock Wednesday night.

32-year old Jodi Shannon Winn was found in a trailer park and the suspicious nature of the body prompted police to investigate it as a homicide, according to KAMC 28.

LPD spokesman Jonathan Stewart said homicide detectives earlier in the night were at the scene of a central Lubbock homicide.

35-year old Joshua Bulls was arrested and charged for the murder of 32-year old David Martinez in the 2800 block of 35^th street.

Stewart said it was unusual for two homicides to have occurred in the same day.
