An arrest has been made after a man was killed while inflating a tire on the side of a road. The Texas Department of Public Safety received a call of a collision of Friday, October 14. KAMC news reported that police arrived shortly around 4 p.m. near Farm to Market Road 2641 and Farm to Market Road 1264.

At the scene, police discovered 63-year-old Timothy Lee Harr who was inflating the tire of his tractor just west of FM 2641 and FM 1264 . A pickup truck was reportedly  traveling east on FM 2641 when it went across the road into the westbound lanes and colliding with the tractor that was in the ditch striking Harr. When emergency crews arrived Harr was declared deceased at the scene from the collision of the pickup truck into the tractor.

The driver of the truck involved in that crash has been identified as 23-year old Stephanie Fair, she was not injured during the collision. Fair was arrested and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter. Fair is still being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center as of October 17th on an $85,000 bond.
