The Car Pro Test Drives the 2019 Infiniti G60 Red Sport
Thursday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Matt Martin and Cole Shooter to talk about his test drive of the week, as well as other auto industry news.
This week The Car Pro was test driving the 2019 Infiniti G60 Red Sport, a car that he wasn't overly excited about after having to give up the 2019 Maserati GranTurismo Convertible that he test drove last week. The Infiniti comes in both rear wheel drive and all wheel drive options. It also comes in 2 door or 4 door. The roof slopes dramatically towards the back, which Jerry says means you probably can fit 2 teenagers in the back but maybe not 2 full sized adults. However, 2 adults can sit very easily in the front with the car's comfortable seats. Jerry went on to say that the car is well engineered, drives great, has 400 horses, a sport mode, a nice exhaust sound, and gets 30 miles to the gallon on the highway. "This car's really nice," Jerry said.
The Car Pro also talked about some stories on his website carprousa.com, including a problem with push button start systems. According to Reynolds, people have been dying because they forget to turn off their cars with the push buttons and their houses have filled with carbon monoxide. Jerry says that this is mostly elderly people having this problem, and that Toyota is going to implement an automatic engine shut off system to turn the engine off after a predetermined period of time.
