On Monday, July 20th, Lubbock Police responded to the Mahon Library at 1306 9th Street after an employee claims her Zoom meeting was hacked.

The employee said that during a scheduled Zoom meeting she was hosting, someone hacked into her computer and gained control of her screen.

KAMC News reports that after the computer was hacked, unauthorized attendees began to appear on the screen. The screen was also filled with graphic depictions of pre-recorded violence.

The suspect eventually relinquished control of the computer.

The employee has said that it's possible she recorded the meeting and would try to save any recorded evidence for police.
