A recent news release from Texas Tech announced that the Women’s Studies Program at Tech will present three feminist forums this fall.  The first forum, on Friday is called The Feminist Teacher.  The news release describes the forum this way:

“The forum will examine strategies to introduce critical-thinking skills in a classroom setting from a feminist perspective. The forum will examine questions such as how does one define a feminist teacher, why is teaching from a feminist perspective vital to classroom curriculum, and what are some best practices that are used to interpret feminist instruction.”

When KFYO googled “Texas Tech Men’s Studies Program" to see if there is a similar program for Men’s Studies at the taxpayer-supported university, we were directed to a link for Women’s Studies.
