West Texas Thinkers Tell Their Tales at TED

The inaugural TEDxLubbock conference will be held today from 9am to 5pm at the The Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (LHUCA). The event brings together a number of prominent West Texas teachers and practitioners of great ideas. These individuals will present their viewpoints with the intention of inspiring the audience to broaden their horizons of thought.

Confirmed speakers include:

1) Brian Still, CEO of Grinbath LLC; 2) Cathy Pope, CEO of StarCare Specialty Health System; 3) Ed Ainsworth, Pastor of Generations Church; 4) Hans Hansen, Professor at Texas Tech University; 5) Christopher Smith, Professor at Texas Tech University; 6) Andy Hedges, singer; 7) Corban Williams, student singer; 8) Ronald Mitchell, Professor at Texas Tech University; 9) Dan Nunn, CEO of Healthdax LLC; 10) Jonathan Whitfill, artist and Physics teacher at Estacado High School; 11) Lee Ware, artist; 12) Dwight McDonald, attorney at McLaurin and McDonald; and 13) Carmen Rizzo, grammy nominated electronic musician.
