Two Suspects Arrested After Shots Fired

On Tuesday, August 26 around 4:00 p.m. Lubbock police were dispatched to the area of 1700 E. Dartmouth Street in response to a call of shots fired.

Officers discovered a suspect inside a blue Chrysler 300 fired a shot from his vehicle, drive-by style, at residents of 1720 E. Dartmouth St. One of the residents returned fire as the suspect fled the scene.

Police were able to  track down the suspect’s vehicle and arrested two occupants.

Isaiah Ward (19) was charged with Aggravated Assault, Prohibited Weapons, and Misdemeanor Warrant while Dedrick Traylor (19) was detained on charges of Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.

No one was injured in the incident.
