Texas Tech has unveiled upgrades to their track and field facility.

Red Raider officials showcased the completion of $1.2 million in facility upgrades to the Terry and Linda Fuller Track and Field Complex, as the program prepares to host the Big 12 Championships this weekend.

The project was completed this week, and includes renovations to two existing buildings and the addition of a 3,900 square-foot storage facility.

The renovations also add a state-of-the-art team room, two locker rooms, and an upgraded athletic training facility.

“This is a phenomenal addition to our already outstanding facility,” said Texas Tech head coach Wes Kittley, who is currently in his 15th season at Tech. “We are grateful for the continued commitment by our administration and donors, and believe this facility will only enhance our program.”

The Tech men’s track and field team enters the Big 12 Track and Field Championships with a No. Six national ranking.
