Texas Tech Track and Field Teams Remain in Top 20

Texas Tech’s track and field teams remain in the top 20 of the rankings.

The Red Raider track and field team dropped two spots to No. 18 this week, and the Lady Raiders stayed ranked at No. 15 in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Week 4 computer poll.

Texas Tech will host its final home meet of the 2013 outdoor season with the Red Raider Open. The meet will be held on Thursday, April 25th at the Terry and Linda Fuller Track and Field Complex.

That meet will be the final event for the program before the Big 12 Championships, which will be held May 3rd through the 5th in Waco.

Thursday’s field events will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Texas Tech Throws facility with running events on the track scheduled for 6 p.m.
