Texas Tech to Partake in Variety of Earth Day Celebrations

Texas Tech will be celebrating Earth Day on April 22^nd in a variety of ways this year.

On April 22-24^th members of the Texas Tech Climate Science Center and associated faculty will participate in Earth Day Texas at Fair Park in Dallas and Friday, the second movie trailer for “Between Earth and Sky” will be released on the film’s website.

“Between Earth and Sky” was developed by David Weindorf, a professor in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Texas Tech and Paul Allen Hunton, a two time Emmy Award winning director and general manager of Texas Tech Public Media KTTZ-TV.

Production of "Between Earth and Sky" is slated to wrap up this summer and the film is expected to be available on PBS stations sometime in 2017.
