Texas Tech to Host “Chew on This” Agriculture Tour

Texas Tech will host an agricultural tour this week.

Chew on This, an interactive road show aimed to raise awareness of world hunger, will be making a stop at Texas Tech on Friday.

The tour aims to promote the need to increase production of crops and livestock using technology. It will be held in the Texas Tech Livestock Arena parking lot, located on the corner of Knoxville Avenue and 18th Street from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Former NFL lineman and champion wrestler Bill Goldberg is the tour’s spokesman, and will be available to answer questions about world hunger and sustainable food production.

The free event is open to the public and lunch will be provided to attendees.
