Texas Tech’s law school has been named as one of the nation’s most transparent.

The Texas Tech School of Law is one of only 47 American Bar Association approved law schools that met its transparency criteria as of March 4th, out of 199 schools.

The results were listed in Law School Transparency’s Winter 2013 Transparency Index Report.

The group conducted an analysis of consumer information on law school websites, which included data submitted by law schools for ABA accreditation and recent employment data submitted voluntarily by the schools.

Tech Law was found to be fully transparent in all 19 categories of placement data.

“Texas Tech Law places a premium on ensuring that our students receive a high-quality legal education,” said Tech Law Dean Darby Dickerson. “For that reason, it is important to provide prospective students with the information they need to make the best possible decisions about their future.
