On Wednesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Representative Warren Chisum spoke with Rex and Chris Wynn about running for the railroad commission.

Chisum has served for 22 years as a representative in the Texas House of Representatives. He said his greatest accomplishment during his time as a representative was moving the "one man, one woman," marriage clause into the Texas Constitution.

Chisum said that to run in a primary like this, you have to get in the race early and that his own campaign is "young, but rolling." He also said his experience, both in the legislative field and the industrial field, would help him stand out amongst the other candidates.
