The state sales tax revenue for April 2014 has been released. Texas sales tax revenue totals more than $2.27 billion dollars which is 5.6 percent higher than April of 2013.
The most recent increase statewide was led by the oil and gas-related sectors, and sizable gains were also made in the restaurants and services sectors as well.
