Suddenlink Purchases Naming Rights to Lubbock Independent School District Field House

Lubbock Independent School District has announced an athletic sponsorship agreement with Suddenlink Communications.

In their Thursday, September 11, announcement, LISD announced that Suddenlink will pay the district $800,000 in exchange for naming rights to the Field House at Plains Capital Park Lowrey Field and signage across the district’s baseball and softball fields.

“As we look to make a positive difference in our community, it only makes sense to invest in our children,” Suddenlink Southwest Region Senior Vice President of Operations Dave Gilles said. “We have always enjoyed our relationship with LISD, and their commitment to the children of our community certainly meets their motto of ‘every child every day’.”

Currently, Suddenlink provides internet and television connectivity in LISD classrooms and sponsors the weekly coaches’ luncheon held during the football season.
