Tuesday on Lubbock's First News, James Nesmith gave details of the Science Spectrum's Spooky Science Carnival, taking place Halloween evening from 5 pm to 9 pm.

The carnival will offer trick-or-treating and other fun. There will be a costume contest (with a request for no scary costumes), bouncer, spooky snake handler, and spooky magic show. Nesmith noted, "This is definitely a family-oriented event." The event will take place in-doors. There will be spooky fun for all ages, though directed toward those up to age 14.

Tickets are included in the regular admission prices, $8 for adults and $6.50 for children. For more information, visit the Science Spectrum website.
