Southcrest Baptist Church Kicks Off Upward Sports For Children’s Ministry [AUDIO]

On Thursday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Pam Copeland from Southcrest Baptist Church talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about their Upwards Sports program.

Southcrest Children's Ministry will be registering kids for their Upward Sports leagues next month. Flag football and cheerleading will be offered for kids 5 years old through 6th grade, and soccer will be offered for kids 4 years old through 6th grade. Copeland said Upward Sports offers a great opportunity for kids who want to play sports and have fun without all the pressure of being the best.

The cost to sign up is $80 per child until July 15th. After that, the price increases to $90. The deadline for flag football and cheer registration in July 27th, and the last day for soccer registration is July 29th.
