The South Plains Food Bank has had another successful food drive, but their effort is not done.

The U Can Share Food Drive raised $180,000 and 400,000 pounds of food, but they continue to collect monetary or food donations all year.

“The food drive went very well this year,” said David Weaver, the CEO of the South Plains Food Bank. “We received great support from the community. Every little bit helps. Every dollar we receive can provide up to five meals.”

Further food and monetary donations can be dropped off at the South Plains Food Bank, located at 4612 Locust Avenue. More information is available at www.spfb.org.
