South Plains College has announced their scholarship application deadline.

High school seniors seeking scholarships at SPC for the 2013-2014 academic year are required to submit their application materials by March 1st.

“We are planning to award more than $600,000 in scholarships next fall and we want future SPC students to know that these funds are available to help support their enrollment,” said Stephen John, vice president for institutional advancement.

Application information is available from the SPC Scholarship Office and online at www.southplainscollege.edu.

More than 650 SPC students are receiving scholarships for the 2012-13 school year, which are made possible through the South Plains College Foundation.

“The primary reason students don’t receive scholarships is not because they are not qualified to receive them. It’s because they don’t take the time to apply for them,” John said.

More information is available online, and by contacting the SPC Scholarship Office at 716-2219.
