Slaton Man Arrested for Attempted Aggravated Kidnapping of Two Slaton Students

A Slaton man has been arrested for the attempted aggravated kidnapping of two Slaton Independent School District students.

Lubbock Sheriff’s deputies arrested 24-year-old Alan Lee Lindsey on Friday, October 11, after receiving complaints of a suspicious person offering students in Roosevelt ISD rides followed by the attempted kidnapping of two Slaton ISD students.

Deputies conducted an investigation into these incidents and, along with information from the public, identified Lindsey, obtained a warrant and arrested him on Friday.

Lindsey has been booked into the Lubbock County Jail on two counts of attempted aggravated kidnapping, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and multiple traffic violations.
