The debate over citizen comments continues at Lubbock City Hall. Mayor Glen Robertson wants to place a time limit on the citizen comment period of the meeting. According to reports the council will consider placing a 60 minute limit for citizen comments. If time runs out and and speakers are left, they would be asked to sign up to speak at the next council meeting. The goal, according to the Mayor, is to be more efficient with time.

What do you think about this issue? Should the Lubbock City Council impose a time limit on citizen comments?
