A San Angelo man has been sentenced for downloading child pornography.

58-year-old Clifford Ralph Blair was sentenced Friday morning to more than 12 years in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Sam R. Cummings.

Blair will also serve 10 years of supervised release following his prison sentence, which will begin in late May.

The sentence comes following Blair’s guilty plea last January to one count of receiving child pornography.

Blair admitted to authorities that he downloaded images and videos of child pornography onto his person computer using a peer-to-peer file sharing program.

The investigation was conducted by the Lubbock Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Department of Homeland Security.
