Repairs Result in Lane Closures on South Loop 289

Concrete repairs require the closure of some South Loop 289 main lanes.

The repairs began Tuesday, May 28th on the South Loop 289 main lanes at the Slide Road bridge.

The repairs are on the concrete median barrier. The westbound Loop 289 shoulder and inside main lane are closed to traffic, as is the eastbound Loop 289 shoulder.

According to TxDOT, repairs are expected to take a week to complete, weather permitting. Motorists should expect delays during the repairs.
