Police have identified the man being charged with making a bomb threat Monday at University Medical Center.

According to authorities, 54-year-old Raul Espinoza has been charged with making a terroristic threat in UMC’s emergency room Monday evening. An off-duty police officer quickly took Espinoza into custody.

Authorities quickly swept the area while patients and doctors were evacuated. No bomb was found and evacuees were allowed back inside. Espinoza is being held in the Lubbock County Jail under $15,000 bond.
